Sunday Morning Kids’ Ministry (Nursery-6th Grade)
Our Sunday morning Kids' Ministry is part of Seeds to Cedars. The classes are:
Sprouts (3-4 Years Old)
Seedlings (4 Years Old-K)
Saplings (1st-6th Grade)
Sprouts, Seedlings, & Saplings join their family for the musical portion of the worship service every Sunday and are then dismissed to the lobby. There, their teacher will escort them to the Fellowship Hall for an age-appropriate lesson.
In the Kids’ Ministry, your child can expect to meet some new friends, learn a lesson from the Bible, sing, play some games, have a snack, and grow closer to Jesus and others. Sometimes there is homework for parents to do with their kids during the week so that they can grow together! After the worship service, parents can pick up their kids at their meeting room.
Last Sunday of Each Month
On the last Sunday of the month, Seedlings & Saplings stay with their family the entire worship service, which includes a children's message on those weeks. On those Sundays, Sprouts stay with their family through the children's message and are then dismissed to their age-appropriate class. There are papers and crayons available at the "Parents & Kids" table in the lobby for the kids to use during the service. There are also "Parenting in the Pew" tips for parents to try out as well!
Nursery for our Seeds is provided for the entire service every Sunday for infants through potty-trained. Follow the signs in the courtyard through the Fellowship Hall to the nursery. After the worship service, parents can pick up their child back at the nursery.
Our Wee Care Fund supports families in need. We contribute to this fund in our Sunday morning Kids' Ministry.
Checking InSafety is our top priority with our kids! We use a check-in system that prints nametags and keeps track of head-counts, allergies, and emergency contact information. You can check your kids in at either of our 2 check-in locations:
- At the computer terminal next to the “Parents & Kids” table in the lobby or
- At the iPad terminal at the nursery, which is through the Fellowship Hall. (Hint: Follow the signs in the courtyard!)
