Zechariah 12:3 "It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. Verse 9 "And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."

Joel 3:2 "I will gather all the nations And bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land."

As we take a look at the who or what the New Babylon is, there are a few hermeneutical principles we need to review. First, the use of Descriptions and Representations to identify prophetic entities not specifically designated in prophecy. As an example, Jerusalem is given an unbelievable description as Sodom, Revelation 11:8 . Baalim is employed for idolatry, Jeremiah 2:23 , and David for the Lord Jesus Christ, Hosea 3:5 . The coming world dictator is set forth as the little horn, the man of sin, the beast, and the antichrist.

  1. God hates divorce, Malachi 2:16
  2. We are to continually forgive one another out of grace (word for forgive is a form of the word for grace charizomai (pres/part) and not the usual word ephiami), Ephesians 4:32 . Implication is we are to forgive not because they deserve it but because God is the example of how to forgive when it is not deserved.

The True Unity of God

While three persons are revealed as being God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4 ; 1 Corinthians 8:6 ). Scripture is strong in its support of monotheism (Deuteronomy 4:35 ; Isaiah 45:14 ; Ephesians 4:3-6 ).The trinity, then, does not imply three Gods. Rather, there are three persons who each possess the whole essence which is one in nature. This God is not one and three but one in three and three in one. The essence is simultaneously one essence.

Security precautions were implemented for all those wishing to ascend to the Temple Mount on Jerusalem Day, the 44th anniversary of the reunification of the city of Jerusalem.

Despite the close proximity of the Moslem police forces always present on the Temple Mount and their obvious anger, this event went off without a hitch, an event that could be very explosive.

In Scripture, we see progressive revelation. In other words, not everything is revealed at once. As time progresses, more is revealed as it is needed. So let's look at New Testament Revelations.

Probably one of the questions I get asked the most, relates to the Trinity. In essence, I am asked to explain how God can be one and yet three? In answering that question, it must be understood that God is one differently than He is three, and He is three differently than He is one. We will learn that there is an essential relationship in the Trinity and a economic relationship in the Trinity. But let’s first look at some initial thoughts.

I have been asked some very good questions concerning our last study in Romans 5:12-14 ! One such question is if Adam sinned and Eve trespassed, why did she die? The simple answer to that question is that since Eve was taken from Adam (Genesis 2:21-23 ) she likewise would die as a result of Adams sin. Eve was not a different created race of humans but came trough Adam.
