Karl Anderson
Senior Pastor
Karl was called from the Midwest to serve Sierra Bible Church in April of 2017. He holds an M. Div. from TEDS and has been a pastor since 2008. In his free time, you can find him coaching soccer or shredding pow in the Sierra.
Glen Baeckel
Worship Pastor
Glen and his family were called to Sierra Bible from Southern California in 2019. He has a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary and has previously served churches in California, Kentucky, and Massachusetts starting in 2002. In his spare time, he is an avid gamer, as well has having a borderline unhealthy love for the New England Patriots.
Rene Gonzalez
Pastor of Family Ministries
Originally from Guatemala, Rene was called to Sierra Bible Church from the Bay Area in August 2022. His ministry experience includes serving in Guatemala, Texas, California, and now, Nevada. Aside from his love for Jesus, his wife Ginny, and their kids, Rene enjoys mountain biking and just about anything that takes place outside.
Cassidy Hastings
Pastor of Ministry Development
Cassidy moved to Reno from Tennessee in 2005. He has been serving as a pastor at Sierra Bible Church since April 2007. One of his greatest loves is embarking on outdoor adventures with his family.
Marcy Frith
Office Manager
Marcy and her family moved to Reno from Idaho in 1988 and have called Sierra Bible Church their church home ever since. She has served as the Church Secretary/Office Manager since September of 1998. She enjoys the great outdoors and surrounding mountains and spending time with family including her 8 grandkids.
